Unlike websites where your customers wonders of into your pages and many offers, a landing page sets the stage for just 1 objective. To ensure the spotlight stays on your conversion goal, eliminate any links or distractions that lead visitors away. Remove hyperlinks, ditch the navigation bar, and keep your audience focused on the main act â your CTA.
Your headline is the opening act that determines whether your audience stays for the show. Make it attention-grabbing and consider adding an eyebrow copy â a brief line that precedes or follows the headline, providing more context. Create intrigue and set the stage for what's to come.
The section of your landing page visible before scrolling, known as "above the fold," is your chance to captivate visitors. Use compelling visuals or videos, but be cautious not to overwhelm with a distracting background. Strike a balance between aesthetics and clarity to keep your audience engaged.
Your landing page copy should highlight both the benefits and features of your products or services. Present them prominently, perhaps in a bullet list or dedicated sections. Clearly communicate why your offerings are valuable, addressing both logical and emotional aspects.
Incorporate elements that build trust and credibility. This could include awards, testimonials, or case studies. Especially crucial if you're a new player in the market, these credibility boosters reassure visitors that your business is legitimate and your offerings deliver on promises.
Give your audience a glimpse behind the curtain with a concise "About Company" section at the end of your landing page. Briefly explain who you are and what you offer, enticing curious visitors to explore your website for more details, but make sure they do not leave this page..
With a single goal in mind, make your call-to-action (CTA) crystal clear and irresistible. Experiment with contrasting colors, bold text, or a larger button size to draw attention. Opt for action-oriented CTA copies like "Learn More," "Sign Up," or "Shop Now."
Your form is the star of the show when it comes to conversions. Keep it simple, asking only for essential information. Optimize its placement above the fold for immediate visibility. Use persuasive triggers like thumbnails of free resources to entice users to submit the form.
